CPPEA is a worker-established, member-led association. We serve California State Employees by advocating fair and equal opportunity, and honest, effective workplace representation.

Today, amid California's ongoing budget crisis, state workers need a dependable, activist union more than ever.

Unfortunately, even as their union dues have increased, California workers represented by SEIU have become concerned about the distant, disengaged union leadership of their union -- SEIU leadership that is focused political and ideological campaigns outside California, ignoring the serious issues faced by California state workers on a daily basis.

CPPEA is the solution: A worker-led association to represent California state employees. We're proud to serve the State of California, and we're passionate about protecting the rights of those we work with every day.
