SEIU Scare Tactics
We are getting reports of SEIU staff visiting offices throughout the state trying to scare NGO Challengers into revoking the Power of Attorney (PoA) they granted to CPPEA and/or Ken Hamidi in order to permit us to represent Challengers in legal matters pertaining to the NGO Arbitration Hearings.
Ken Hamidi tried to voice the concerns of NGO Challengers in last years Arbitration Hearings and at that time SEIU refused to cooperate stating that Ken Hamidi had no documentation authorizing him to represent Non-Germane Objectors in the Arbitration hearings.
So this year we have included a clause in the NGO form granting CPPEA and/or Ken Hamidi such authorization. This has gotten SEIU’s attention, and they are very concerned about our grass-roots movement being organized into a coordinated force to be reckoned with, rather than our just remaining impotent angry protestors.
If you were tricked into believing SEIU’s scare tactics, and you revoked your PoA to CPPEA/Ken Hamidi based on those false claims, you can re-appoint CPPEA and/or Ken Hamidi with your Power of Attorney for the sole purpose of representing your concerns in all legal matters pertaining to Challenging SEIU’s calculations of Non-Germane expenditures and refunding your dues in a timely manner, by filling in and signing the form below and mailing it to:

Reappointment of Representative for 2011 Non-Germane Fee Arbitration

As a Fair Share Fee payer to SEIU Local 1000:
- I have already applied for the 2011 Non-Germane Objector (NGO) status in June of 2011 and my NGO status has been established.
- I have also challenged SEIU Local 1000’s calculations of their Non-Germane expenditures.
- I had also appointed CPPEA and/or Ken Hamidi to represent me in all matters and/or legal actions related to 2011 Non-Germane fee/expenditures arbitration.
Recently, due to the SEIU Local 1000 agents’ deceptive misinformation and scare tactics, I was misled into signing a revocation of my previous appointment of Mr. Hamidi as my representative in the upcoming 2011 Non-Germane fee/expenditures arbitration.
Herewith, I Reappoint Mr. Ken Hamidi to represent me in all matters and/or legal actions related to the 2011 Non-Germane Expenditures / Fair Share Fee arbitration.
